Alright Ginas, the holiday season is well and truly upon us. Now I expect you want to look fabulous as you attend your holiday soirees, and this means putting your best head of hair forward.

But, ain’t nobody got time to spend endless amounts of hours and hairspray styling their hair for all of the holiday festivities.

That’s why I’ve rounded up my top 7 fabulous and easy hairstyles to see you through the holiday season. Keep reading to find your favourite look!

Ponytail, But Add A Scrunchie

’tis the season to be jolly after all!

To achieve this look, gather your hair into a high ponytail.

Tie it together with your Damn Gina Silk Scrunchie and away you go - easy, breezy and with a little bit of sass.

Half Bun It

Have you ever seen anyone rock a half bun and not look good? I didn’t think so.

This hairstyle will show your locks off while keeping your hair off your face - perfect for a dinner party!

To rock this look, brush the hair above your ears up into a high ponytail. Secure the ponytail with a hair tie.

Twist your ponytail, then coil it around the base of the ponytail until you have a bun. Secure the bun with a hair tie or some bobby pins.

For added glam, amp up the volume on the bottom/open half of your hair by running a curling iron through your strands. Finish the look with a spritz or two of some sea salt spray.

Wrap It Up

For those days when you really can’t be bothered washing or styling your hair, wear your Damn Gina Silk Turban.

Throw on a pair of big earrings and a bold red lip and you’ll take the glam up to a whole new level.

In fact, it’s a Gina guarantee that you will be looking damn fine, with zero effort involved!

Half Side Braid

Part your hair on whichever side your hair naturally falls. Take a small section of hair on one side of your head and braid it out and up towards the crown of your head. Once your braid reaches the back of your head, pin it into place with a bobby pin or ten.

Pull or place the top layers of your hair over the bobby pins so it looks like your braid just flows into the natural texture of your hair.

Finally, spray some texturising spray through the loose bits of your hair and scrunch your fingers through your hair.

You will look like a total goddess at every holiday party you attend rocking this hairstyle!

Accessorize Like Your Life Depends On It

It is the festive season so why wouldn’t you amp up the hair accessories?!

Here’s your chance to get super creative, Gina style.

Throw your hair up into a messy bun, then complete the look with some sparkly hair clips.

Or, put on a fun and fancy headband.

Finally, maximise the fact that it’s the holiday season and add some tinsel or a sparkly ribbon to your look.

An easy way to do this is to braid your hair, use a hair tie to tie it up at the end, then wrap some tinsel or a ribbon around the hair tie.

Want to strut your stuff like the queen you are? Turn some tinsel into a halo or a crown that sits on top of your head and do your thing at the holiday festivities girlfriend!

Go For A Romantic Low Bun

It’ll look like you took at least an hour to do your hair - when it only takes a few minutes!

To achieve this look, start with a side part in your hair. Then clip up the top half of your hair.

Grab a hair tie and tie the bottom half of your hair into a loose, low, messy bun.

Release the top half of your hair from the clip. Leave a couple of pieces loose at the front. Starting from the back of your head take a small section of hair around 2cm wide, take it across to the other side of your head and pin into place with bobby pins just above your bun.

Repeat the same step with a section of hair on the opposite side of your head. Repeat this step until all sections of your hair are pinned into place, apart from the pieces you left loose at the front.

Use  some bobby pins to messily pin up the pieces of hair that are hanging loose above your bun. As a final step, use a curling iron to shape the two loose strands at the front of your hair and voila!

Wear Your Hair Au Naturel

That’s right Ginas, just like the drinks during the holiday season, let your hair flow freely.

Whether you’ve got a head full of curls, waves or some epic texture, rock what your mama gave you all holiday season long!
