For straight and wavy hair, we suggest loosely twisting the hair at the crown area before wearing the turban. This helps in maintaining the volume and hold the turban in place. If you have short straight/ wavy hair - we suggest making multiple portions and loosely tie the hair in small buns/ knots around the crown area to keep the volume.
Curly hair can benefit by wearing the turban with the hair up in a pineapple or loose Princess Leia buns. If you have fine/short curls we highly recommend small sections of loose buns around the crown area. Curly hair can also benefit by using the turban on damp hair.
The volume of kinky/coily hair works great with the turban. If you have long coils, divide the hair into multiple portions, and then twisting or braiding before wearing the turban helps maintain the shape.

Finally bird nest free

I'm so relieved! After using my new turmeric head wrap, I wake up knot-free. This is such a change because I used to wake up with a bird's nest in my hair, even with a silk pillowcase.

Goodbye bed hair

I used to wake up looking like beetlejuice, and now I can emerge from bed looking like an absolute babe. They are not annoying to wear at all, in fact, makes sleeping less annoying because there isn't hair all over the place. My partner loves it for the same reason, he can snuggle up without getting a snoot full of hair.

Love the style but..

I cannot for the life of me get it to stay on my head. I have a small head and my hair is VERY long (past my hips) and I love how soft this makes my hair feel in the morning, and I like that it's up and out of my way.
But the drawstring is so thin and feels super flimsy - trying to tie it even loosely, I can hear threads groaning and snapping and I'm worried they're going to just break. The rest of the cap feels really well made but for the cost I'm pretty disappointed with how poor the ties are - I can't tie it tight enough because of this and it slips off my head two or three times a night. I think it'd be better served with a thick satin ribbon as a tie.

Fun while it lasted

I ordered this after reading great reviews. I wore it once and loved it. I placed it back in its beautiful box in an attempt to hide it from my 6 year old. I was excited to try it again only to discover that my husband had accidentally thrown it in the recycling bin, never to be seen again. Alas my hair will remain frizzy for ever.
