The Tease Brush

Nylon bristles are stronger and more flexible, making them better for detangling and working through thicker hair. Mixed bristle brushes combine both—giving you the shine-boosting benefits of boar with the detangling power of nylon.

The nylon pins on The Tease are made of PA66, which is heat-resistant (up to 220C) so yes, you can use it while blow-drying. Just keep in mind that the boar bristles and wooden handle aren’t designed for prolonged, high-heat styling. For a quick dry and smooth finish, The Tease works beautifully. For serious blow-dry styling and volume, a ceramic round brush is better.

• Curly / Textured Hair – Use a mixed bristle brush (boar + nylon). The nylon bristles help glide through curls without too much tugging, while the boar bristles smooth and add shine.

Yes! A travel-size brush can be just as effective as a full-size one. The difference is mainly in the size of the handle and head, which makes it more portable. As long as the bristles and materials are high quality, you’ll get the same shine, scalp stimulation, and detangling benefits.

These brushes will last you a lifetime if cared well. It is also good for your scalp to keep your brush clean. Wash the head (bristle part )in soap water once a week. Deep clean even 4-6 weeks by soak the brush paddle in soap water and then removing the debris, hair and gunk using a thin bottle cleaner or tweezers. Be mindful of not soaking the wood as that may cause it to swell.

The boar bristles are responsibly sourced keeping sustainability in mind. They are a by product of the meat industry. The bristles are taken once the boar is slaughtered for meat. The animals weren't reared for the bristles nor was taken when they were alive. The wild boars weren't hunted for the bristles either.
