I purchased this hat in Chocolate and Cherry and wore it on vacation—within days, I had a stream of compliments. I spent hours in the sun on a river trip, and this was hands-down the best hat in the group. The brim is firm (not floppy!), holds its shape beautifully, and provides excellent sun protection for my face.
I loved it so much I ordered a second one in Cinnamon and can’t wait for it to arrive.
I also wore it on an ocean boat ride where it got wet and picked up some salt residue. I hand-washed it in cold water, and it dried looking good as new. Great quality and stylish—highly recommend!
This multi-layered hat is very think and unsuitable for warm climates (or warm days!). The thickness of the hat makes it sit awkwardly and doesn't allow for much heat loss. I was expecting a well designed hat with a sleek silk insert. This is not what this hat is.
Hi Kate. Thank you for taking the time and I am sorry to hear the hat wasn't a good fit for you. The hat has just 3 layers. Organic cotton on top, a layer of felt to give some support to the brim as it is a wide brim and mulberry silk. We have shipped the hat to hot places like Singapore, Malaysia, Florida and have raving reviews from the customers. I understand the product may not suit everybody and I appreciate your feedback. I offered to take the hat back from you for a full refund back in August 2024. You said you will send it back after a week but we never received it back. We have also added new colours in cotton canvas which is a hevaier fabric - means the felt used is much thinner mkaing the hat much lighter.
Best hat I’ve ever owned. Feels so good on, firm and comfortable. Not to mention its good looks.

I wear it every night. It definitely keeps my hair in check
The silk wrap has made the biggest difference to my hair. No more breakage. I can finally grow my hair.
The hair oil is light and smells sweet and just finishes off my ends so that are healthy and untangled all day.
